95% of staff employed by Neueda would recommend it as a great employer – a fact which helped secure the firm’s position amongst the UK’s Best Workplaces.
The UK’s Best Workplaces™ ranking, just published by Great Place to Work®, is the result of an independent survey and audit of organisations across the UK, which evaluate HR and leadership practices, internal policies and culture.
According to Neueda’s Head of People and Culture, Lisa Sweeney, the company’s focus on nurturing its culture continues to pay out dividends:
“Nurturing a great culture for our employees is just part of our DNA. It goes way beyond social activities or perks. Our culture is about supporting employee wellbeing, about ensuring our people feel valued and fulfil their potential.
“We see the results through our people every day – they’re motivated, willing to challenge and take risks, share knowledge and develop their skillset at every opportunity,” Lisa said.
As well as encouraging professional development and staff input through idea generation sessions and ongoing training opportunities, Neueda places significant focus on staff wellbeing.
“The new generation of talent places particular importance on work/life balance and we’re very mindful of this. We place a high importance on communication and feedback and offer initiatives such as social events, yoga and health and wellness benefits to help our people maintain a healthy mind and body,” Lisa Sweeney added.
Michael Malanaphy, who joined as a graduate in June 2015 and is now a Senior Software Engineer, talks about his career progression at the company:
“Neueda isn’t a normal company where you join, wait three years for promotion and then another three years for the next one. At Neueda, if you work hard, even if you’re a graduate, you can see yourself shoot up the ladder in a few years.”
