The G–Cloud Programme is a cross government initiative targeted at easing procurement by public–sector bodies in departments of the United Kingdom Government of commodity information technology services that use cloud computing. G–Cloud covers the processes of buying, managing and using cloud services. The goal of G–Cloud is to move government ICT service provision from a costly dedicated development that is often duplicated many times over, to taking the best fit the market has to offer that balances functionality, service levels and cost. Essentially G–Cloud provides Public Sector Bodies with a range of the best industry IT services and solutions available off–the–shelf for use when they need them.
Brendan Monaghan, Managing Director of Neueda commented, “With an increasing demand for agile services across our Public Sector customers, being awarded this place on the G–Cloud 6 agreement enables us to deliver projects that accelerate time–to–value our customers, and allows them engage with us in a true spirt of collaboration and continuous improvement”.
