Bank Of Ireland (UK) - Regulatory Compliance

Project Title: Regulatory Compliance incorporating a new Personal Account Charging Structure for a major Financial Institution.

Value: This programme cost €9.4million spanning 2.5 years.

Objective: This was a regulatory compliance project introduced by the Competition Commission.  There were several deliverables of the project affecting personal current accounts in UK.  These deliverables had several implementation dates over the 2.5 years.  The customer also took this opportunity to introduce a new charging structure for their current accounts.

Solution: Neueda provided the business project management and assisted with the business analysis for the programme.  This project impacted many areas of the Business and had a major IT deliverable. Neueda project management provided the following:

  • Managing a team of Business Analysts, Project Consultants and Testers
  • Drove the relationship between Business and IT, ensuring that all Business requirements were logged by IT and that IT were on schedule for delivery
  • Managed gathering of all requirements that ensured solution was compliant.  Ensured Business processes were drawn up and updated to reflect requirements and changes.
  • Managed all costs and scope of project, ensuring that project remained on schedule and within budget.
  • Managed the business test strategy and testing of all deliverables
  • Ensured that senior executives were kept up to date on status of project
  • Managed all training of end Users plus all Customer Communication, including mailing.
  • Managed all issues and risks, escalating as required
  • Overseen data cleanse exercises, both centrally and in the retail network
  • Managed multiple implementations during the 2.5 year project.
