Neueda, a locally owned IT consultancy, training and agile software development company located in Belfast, recently held an Interactive Breakfast Briefing in their new offices on the theme of Unlocking the Power of your Data.
The event focused on how understanding and managing your data can have revolutionary effects on driving improved overall organisational performance and decision–making. Over forty representatives from across the education, utilities, telecommunications and public sector attended the event.
Commenting on the event, Neil McKeown, Head of Consulting at Neueda said: “I am delighted to have hosted Neueda’s first ever Business Intelligence breakfast briefing. We were delighted to have speakers Colin Daysh, Head of IT / MIS, Belfast Metropolitan College & Eugene Maguire, Strategic Development Manager, Power NI who shared their experiences of their respective organisation’s journey in unlocking the power of their data. We structured the event to enable a mix of networking and listening, alongside the opportunity to get hands–on exposure to QlikView™, an intuitive data visualisation tool that can help unlock the value of enterprise data.
Colin Daysh, Head of IT / MIS at Belfast Metropolitan College, guest speaker at the event said: “I was delighted to share Belfast Metropolitan College’s data management journey. After a recent restructure of the Management Information System Team, it was apparent there was a significant gap between what the College required and what was being delivered. We worked with Neueda who adopted an Agile Business Intelligence implementation approach. Neueda implemented Qlikview which has revolutionised the College, enabling our ability to have real time and meaningful performance discussions.
